Elite Education & Institutional Excellence Awards and Conference 2024 conferred SSMRV College with Education Excellence Awards under the following categories:

3. Rescue Relay- World Record Attempt- CPR
Received Certificate of Appreciation from Rotary Midtown Bangalore and Manipal Hospitals for its role in the Guinness World Record-breaking event for most people gathered in one location for CPR training using a single mannequin.
4. Golden Citation from District 3191
SSMRV’s Rotaract Club received a Certificate of Recognition with Golden Citation from District 3191 for contributions during Quarter 1.
5. Appreciation from Robert Gordon University
SSMRV received a Certificate of Appreciation from Robert Gordon University, Scotland.
– Ms. Vidya has been nominated as a member of the Youth Red Cross Advisory Committee of Bangalore City University.
– Ms. Deepika L. and Ms. Vaishnavi R. faculty members of SSMRV, received the Best Paper Award at the recently held National Conference at Acharya. This achievement is noteworthy as it marks their first research paper presentation.
– Mr. Jagadish A., Ms. Rajatha, and Mr. Santosh D. Bendigeri received the Best Paper Award on 23rd August 2025 for their research titled “Possibilities and Difficulties in India’s Startup Ecosystem Using Real-Time Social Media Analytics.” The award recognises their empirical study on digital engagement and startup success, highlighting the department’s strength in data-driven research.

1. Dr. Vijayashree recently received the Academic Leadership Award from Reussir Trust , JSW steel and Deccan Herald.
2. Guru Kritajana award was from Amity Business School.
3. Innovation Award from Vision Karnataka Foundation

-Dr Lavanya Balaji served as Track Chair (Finance Track) for Vimarsha 2025 at Dayananda Sagar College on September 12, 2025.
– Dr Malini N presented a paper titled ‘AI at the Grassroots: Exploring the Integration of Machine Learning and Citizen Sourced Data for Environmental Monitoring in Bengaluru City’ at a National-level event organised by Maharani Lakshmi College on 18 and 19 of September, 2025.

A Doctorate was conferred by CHRIST University for research on the topic “Exploring the Reciprocation of Social Media Advertising on Consumer Purchase Intention.”
- Dr Prakash V
A Doctorate was awarded by Kalinga University for research titled “A Comprehensive Analysis of Industrial Relations Landscape in the Power Sector of Karnataka.”
- Dr Chiranjivi M S
A Doctorate was awarded by Bharathidasan University, Trichy, for research titled “Individualized and Combined Effect of Bosu Ball Training and Battle Rope Training on Selected Psychological and Performance Variables Among Football Players.”
- Dr Soujannya Diwan
A Doctorate was awarded by Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, for research titled “Theatrical Analysis of Collaborative Creation in Canadian Drama.”

- Won the ‘Best Paper Presentation’ at the International Conference on Innovation, Management and Technological Excellence organised by Surana College, IQAC and Research & Development Cell.
- Gold Medalist and awarded ‘Certificate of Excellence’ for ‘Research Excellence in Management.’
- Dr. Malini N
Presented a paper in International Conference – “Global Goals, Local Solutions – Integrating sustainability in everyday life”, held by Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College in association with Bengaluru City University on the topic – AI at the Grassroots : Exploring the Integration of Machine Learning and Citizen Sourced Data for Environmental Monitoring in Bengaluru City, and was awarded Best Paper Award.

- Won the ‘Best Paper Presentation’ at the International Conference on Innovation, Management and Technological Excellence organised by Surana College, IQAC and Research & Development Cell.

Published a paper titled ‘Digital Banking Transformation with Essential Eight Services: With Special Reference to AI’ in Anwesh: International Journal of Management and Information Technology.
- Mr. M. Akshay Kumar
Won a State-level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament held in Bangalore. An article about the tournament was published in Sanjay Vaani newspaper.
- Mrs. Lavanya Balaji
Co-authored and published two books with Sunstar Publisher for the SEP syllabus in collaboration with other colleges.
- Ms. Deepika R | B.Com
Ms. Deepika R of first-year B.Com has been selected to represent the Bangalore City University Women’s Kabaddi Team in the All India South Zone Kabaddi Tournament scheduled to be held at Salem from 29th October to 2nd November.
- Mr. Preetham | BBA Aviation
Mr. Preetham, a first-year BBA Aviation student, received the State Award for Best Child Artist by the Rajya Chalanchitra Prashasti on 3rd November. The award was presented by the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Mr. Likith B., a second-year BBA student, has been selected as one of the top three participants from South India for the South Zone NSS Pre–Republic Day Camp 2025, out of a total of 180 participants.
- Pavan Raj | BCA
Participated in Thai-India Sports Expose Volleyball Tour-2025.His team won the first place. He was the vice-captain of the winning team and also won the Gold Medal for best player of winning team.

Secured the 8th Rank in BCU Examinations

Won the ‘Best Paper’ award at the National Conference on India’s Pathway to Sustainability Opportunities and Challenges.

Won the Best Paper Award for the paper titled ‘Indian Economy and Eco Tourism’ at the Two-Day National Seminar on ‘India’s $5 Trillion Economy: The Vision, Challenges and Roadmap’ (5TE-2024).

Participated in the 66th National Shooting Championship Competitions (Pistol Events). Secured a score of 544 in the 10M Pistol Youth Men National Championship (Individual) event and was recognised as a “Renowned Shot” by the Government of India.

Participated in the 66th National Shooting Championship Competitions (Rifle Events). Scored 601.9 in the 10M Rifle Junior Men Civilian Championship (Individual) event and was recognised as a “Renowned Shot” by the Government of India.
