We at SSMRV College are proud and excited to start an exclusive training program for our students, imparted by experts in the field. This training at SSMRV College would help students to develop competencies and capabilities. It would help them to develop interpersonal, communication, team building and leadership skills, for greater productivity and performance and above all ‘employability”. The course structure is progressive in nature and would see a rise in level as each semester progresses. This has been done keeping in mind their present requirement and making them ready for a scenario down the lane. Initially, the program would cover the First year students and gradually would go on to include the other semesters as well.

When students think about business communication and the need for an impressive presentation, they seldom consider mistakes in conversational English and demeanors, those that occur commonly among them across all fields. Human resource management experts are of the opinion that effective communiqué is an important ingredient in creating a complete persona and learned students are the ones who know how to effectively showcase themselves. The corporate world is a stage and all of us are performers. Thus, also arises the need of building an exquisite personality and ability to make lasting impressions through the perfect conduct. The Soft Skills training sessions would cover everything that would enable a student stand out in a crowd of career builders. It is designed to help them gain the personal insight and practical skills to develop and implement a mental framework for a good and professional approach to their career.

Training and Placement Cell arranges and coordinates various programmes that aim at moulding the students so as to meet the industry expectations in career building and in turn bring laurels to the parent institution. The Training and Placement Cell, guided by a set of rules and principles, strives to maintain good relationship with industries. Preparing the recruitment schedule for the year, inviting corporations for pre-placement talks on the campus followed by final placements, and overseeing the process to its end, is the responsibility of the Training and Placement Cell. The Cell endeavours to carry out successfully all the processes methodically throughout the year.
