Our Adventure Club was started to achieve this very goal for the students of SSMRV. We believe in breaking boundaries and overcoming setbacks with a positive approach, and our adventure club encourages the students to do the same. Through outdoor activities and adventure sports, we ensure our students keep moving forward — boldly and fearlessly.

Civil Defence Unit

Ms. Shakeela

Coordinator

The Civil Defence Unit is a voluntary organisation comprised of individuals who come together to lessen the impact of disasters — whether natural, such as earthquakes and floods, or man-made, like air raids or civil disturbances. Its core purpose is to save lives, minimise property damage and ensure the swift restoration of essential services and normalcy following a crisis. By responding promptly and effectively, the units provide continued protection and support to civilians during emergencies.

The Importance of Civil Defence

In times of crisis, psychological warfare aims to spread fear, cause panic and demoralise the population. Civil defence plays a vital role in preventing this by reinforcing the morale and determination of the public. It is a reminder that, as citizens, we are equally responsible for protecting the dignity, safety and freedom of our country. Civil defence empowers individuals to be vigilant, proactive and resilient in the face of adversity.
