Objectives of the activity

To inaugurate and commence the admission process-Parmesan 203-24

To align and familiarize the ADCOM team about the admission process for AY 2023-24

To provide guidelines to Personal Interview Panellists

To streamline the admission process and activities

Description

Praveshan-2023 was inaugurated by Sri D P Nagaraj, the Honorable Joint-Secretary – RSST, Mr. Syed Shahameer- The Registrar- RVEI, Mr. Raghav Mantri-Founder & MD -IES, Dr. Anil Kumar – Principal SSMRV & Dr. Geetha R – Director, SSMRV. The program began with an invocation song by Prof. Vidya Jambagi and lamp lighting by the dignitaries. Principal set the context to the event through his opening remarks. Subsequently during his interaction with the team, Shri D. P Nagaraj, the Hon’ble Joint Secretary-RSST emphasized on the need to focus on quality during the admissions
process. Later Mr. Syed Shahameer, The Registrar – RSST reiterated the need for effective coordination and coping mechanism to deal with challenges
during the admission process. Mr. Raghav Mantri, the curator and MD of IES familiarized the participants with the admission process and Dr.Geetha, The Director provided a set of guidelines to PI Panelists to ensure fair and effective selections. The event was steered with precision by anchors – Ms. Lavanya and Ms. Vijayalakshmi under the guidance of Ms. Umesalma. It concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Gokul followed by working lunch for all the participants.

Outcome of activity

Praveshan 2033 was inaugurated for current AY.

16 Core Team members and 23 members empaneled for PIs and 7 members assisting in the admission process were oriented
